La Fondue
For more than just a ‘cheesy’ evening
Grab your partner and head down to this cheese fondue specialist, where they have come up with a unique Valentine’s Day menu. The five-course arrangement includes the signature La Fondue four cheese special, as well as fantastic entrée choices such as The Ranch – a medley of black angus beef fillet mignon, Kurobuta pork collar and turkey breast. Dual dinner timings are still available (5.30pm and 7.30pm), with menu prices at $118 nett and $128 nett per couple respectively.

For colonial-style romantic setting
Experience fine European cuisine with Masons' well-crafted set menu. Situated within the timeless charm of Gillman Barracks, enjoy courses such as the roasted duck leg served with potato and apple rosti, after having your appetite whetted by the mushroom trio cappuccino. This four-course affair costs $69++ per guest, although you can top it up to $75++ for a glass of Italian sparkling wine. Available for lunch only.

For a classic fusion menu
This contemporary Japanese and Italian restaurant has a sleek environment to match its four-course Valentine’s Day special. Dough lovers will appreciate the pizza combo platter – a trio of flavours that include salmon, curry wagyu and sweet miso. The mains also seem easy enough to handle – without being too difficult to slice into – whether you opt for the tender Kukuni pork belly or the seabass with mushroom stew. The menu is priced at $150++ per couple.

Perle Noire
For reliable European cooking and flexibility
For a hassle-free, yet equally romantic meal, Perle Noire offers a semi fine-dining experience. Instead of having pre-fixed V-Day sets, choose from the extensive a la carte menu and you’ll come across gems such as the roasted marinated rack of lamb ($45) and the luxurious black label wagyu beef ($138). There are still tables available for lunch reservation, so do hurry.

Lime House
For vivacious Caribbean signatures
Opt for something different and book a last minute table at Lime House, which is serving a distinctive Valentine’s Day menu. Promising to be a meal full of colours and Caribbean pompousness, tuck into favourites such as the panko crusted crab cakes and grilled citrus spring chicken (paired with buttered chat potatoes and salsa verde). Even the dessert, deconstructed apple crumble, looks compelling with a stewed granny smith topped with tartlet shell and honey. The menu is priced at $108++ per guest, with a complimentary bottle of wine.
