Erdinger ushers in Spring with the return of Maifest for the third year in Singapore. The traditional, seasonal German celebration will once again delight revellers on 9 and 10 May from 7pm to 11pm at the Clarke Quay's Central Fountain Square.
Expect an evening of beer drinking, German food and a host of fun activities. Maifest is an annual festival in Germany where locals celebrate the start of the new season and harvest. This year, Maifest at Clarke Quay will feature a towering five-metre high maibaum (maypole) - a cultural mainstay of Maifest, the Maibaum symbolises vitality and fertility of nature and is decorated with multi-coloured ribbons.
Revellers will also get a chance to savour chilled Erdinger beers and a limited edition brew, the Erdinger Urweisse, brought in for this two-day event only. This strong beer with a spicy aroma is brewed using a recipe that is 120 years old.
Revellers will also sample Erdinger Dunkel hotdogs and Weissbier chicken burgers specially created for this event. There will be also performances by German band Ois Easy.
Win a chance to participate in the Maifest festivities with all-access passes to the VIP areas in a hamper of Erdinger goodies worth $200 each. There are five hampers up for grabs.
