We may be inSing.com and HungryGoWhere but like everyone else, we're in the dark about the location of the third Dîner en Blanc Singapore.
Set for 5 July, 2014, the location will not be disclosed until the day of the event, although this year we're betting it's somewhere close to a body of water.
Giving a twist of romance, this year's diners will be invited to scribble romantic messages to each other and slip it into empty bottles of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and watch it bob away. The love notes though won't be lost forever, all messages will be displayed on Facebook, and the most romantic will win an exclusive prize from the event’s champagne sponsor, Perrier-Jouët.

Started in Paris 25 years ago by François Pasquier and friends, the by-invite-only mass picnic-style (with tables) pop-up event assembles nearly 15,000 people each year in Paris. Singapore was the first Asian country to host it in 2012 with almost 900 diners turning up for the 'White Dinner' held outdoors at Marina Bay Sands.
In 2013, more than 2,400 guests turned up to Marina Barrage for the pop-up picnic which went off without a hitch, despite the end-of-night storm.
While the inaugural Dîner en Blanc Singapore started off on the wrong foot – some of its initial dining stipulations had upset Singapore bloggers, resulting in some 'White Dinner' spin-offs – future Dîner en Blanc have run smoothly.
Dîner en Blanc has also been held in Lyon, Amsterdam, Munich, Zurich, Berlin, Montreal and New York.
