The food festival that aims to make Michelin-star and award winning cuisine accessible, Savour, is back for its third year with a line-up of international and local chefs, special menus, live demonstrations, workshops, culinary events and a gourmet marketplace that has doubled in size since Savour 2013.
The culinary event will be held at the Promontory @ Marina Bay this year, designed to mimic a food village of pop-up restaurants, bars and cafes, a gourmet marketplace and air-conditioned dining tents. Set against the backdrop of the Marina Bay Waterfront, it’ll be held in conjunction with i Light Marina Bay 2014, Asia’s only sustainable light art festival.
The venue is also easily accessible via the newly opened Downtown MRT station.

The line-up of internationally acclaimed chefs this year includes Michelin-star holders Michael Caines (Gidleigh Park, United Kingdom), Henrik Yde Andersen (Kiin Kiin, Denmark) and Alvin Leung (Bo Innovation, Hong Kong). There will also be local stalwarts Emmanuel Stroobant (Blue Lotus, Saint Pierre), Claudio Sandri (Spathe Public House) and Julien Royer (JAAN). Chefs from 20 restaurants from around the world will be serving up over 50 signature dishes (priced from $6 to $18) over five days.
Expect creations like a minced duck with foam yam meringue and mint (Kiin Kiin, Denmark ) and homemade foie gras terrine tempura with lobster mayonnaise and apple salt (Saint Pierre, Singapore).
Presented by Jasons, The Gourmet Grocer, and designed to replicate famous food markets from around the world, the Jasons' gourmet market this year will be housed in its own air-conditioned tent and will grow in scale from last year's marketplace. This year, the market's top draws include a Japanese seafood section with products flown-in from Tokyo’s Tsukiji market, a meat section offering top quality wagyu beef, lamb and roasted veal and a cheese counter showcasing over 200 varieties. There will also be complimentary master classes, wine and cheese pairings and a gourmet kitchen with live cooking demos.
Nespresso returns as the official coffee sponsor for Savour and will be setting up the Maison Nespresso within the Savour events space. This year they will be serving complimentary, Nespresso’s signature espresso and espresso-based drinks, however Nespresso capsules and coffee machines will also be on sale.
