But very funny one, i used to dun like cheesecake, or rather i nv had cheesecake before until recently? for some reason or the other. Den i had it and fall deeply in love with it. hahhaha
I LOVE cakes and pastries...hmmm..i like them soft n moist...
Still looking for the melt in ur mouth Blackforest, any recommendations from LIC?? oooohh Tiramisu slurppppp....but I find the tiramisu in Spore too refine, not enough texture... oh!!! Lana choc cake with a scoop of organic vanilla icecream, hmm better make that 2 scoops!!! Yet to try jane cake station durian cake...their choc cake is not bad but I prefer lana's Cheese cakes...abit sick of it...but getting back to it slowly oh!!!! another one! used to eat TEMPTATION choc cake, its yummy soft. but since paragon renovation few years back they have disappeared...
ok ...i better stop here...can just go on n on n on .......
I recommend the Blackforest cake from Classic Cakes & Pine garden. cheaper than town prices. not too much cream and generous cherries. chocolate sponge is not too sweet, soft and fluffy.
i quite some time nv had blackforest cakes already. because i dun like the blueberry in it. hahaha
Secret recipe cakes are really value for money, i went there twice, try five cakes already. my ambition is to try finish all the cakes listed on their menu. LOL!!
see my first time visit here, and my second visit here THe more special cakes that i had was at Wild Rocket. They deconstruct the whole cake and put it in a martini glass. damn cool! hahaha. and most impt it taste good!!

Galinusa - yes! I have tried Canele's strawberry shortcake, and I rank it with Bakerzin as the top 2 in Singapore
Canele: Love the lightness of the sponge and fresh creamy taste Bazkerzin: Slightly sweeter but pleasantly so
PC - Thanks for the tip but the blackforest cake at Pine Garden is not what I was looking for, but at the price it is better than most. Unfortunately, they do not use fresh cream and the cherries were not soaked in kirsch.
The search has been going on too long... and I still haven't found....... what I am looking for...
Should give Royals Chocolate Truffle a try. it has a mix of sweet and bitter and at $2 a slice it is worth it. Its halal too so muslims can try their other cakes and pastries

Oh and the Hazlenut crunch Cake @ The Coffee Showcase is fantastic. tastes abit like ferero rocher. At $4.50 a slice. Or add 3.50 to the main course and you get the cake, a drink and soup. Really good. Located @ 45 East Coast Road TeL: 63451256
sweet secrets actually have very nice cakes. i used to like the concorde cake when i was younger. it's so darn sweet coz of the chocolate meringue but it sures satisfy.

i love oreo cheesecake! =) the one from cottage pies @ white sands shopping centre is cheap and delicious! (i bought it for $2.80 last yr, dunno if the price has been increased now)
but i don't like the oreo cheesecake from the royals cos the amt of oreos in the cake is way too little! i can see a few oreo crumbs but somehow i can't taste them at all...
i love coffee bean's cheesecake with toblerone, but they no longer sell it... =(
