i read a food article about ramly burgers...and apparently, one of the best ramly burger can be found at the m. hasan canteen at the tanjong pagar railway station.
  2.
but i thought alot of pasar malams sell ramly burgers...and the jc i studied in sells them too
  3.
those are not the same ramly you get in malaysia if I am not wrong... ramly is the brand of the burger am I wrong? the patty is something else...
  4.
style of burger is the same lah...just the patty seems to taste different..... they never really tasted like the meat it is suppose to be... like beef and ostrich seems to taste the same... rabbit doesn't taste anything like a rabbit i've had...maybe some other rodent? chicken may just be the safest bet...hahahah

guys.... sad to say. it wasn't up to my expectations. The ramly was too wet from all the overuse of brown sauce and chilli. the burger became very messy while eating with drips of sauces coming out. patty wasn't from msia ones, they are slightly thicker. dun know whether to review this place or not. dun bother lah.

S$2.50 can't complain about quality i guess...most of them taste similar...Ramly burger is, in my opinion, just a burger...nothing special about it

Jon Wan: u are rite Ramly is juz a burger. but also depends how hungry u r when u eat it!
  5.
JW i have to disagree with you on this one....mac donalds is just a burger too.... so just eat macs rite? why bother with ramly, relish, mos burger or whatever not...

There is a unique characteristic about ramly. It is not that it is the best burger but a certain "country" taste to it....in malaysia usually by the roadside, you watch these guys cook on their crappy "grills", a bit of smoke from the vehicles, a funny tasting patty...all adds up to create a pretty unique snack...The kiosk ones ok lah...but the KL ones rocks... =)

hey...you're not Picky Gourmet for nothing bro. It's been commercialised so much, other than your KL recpmendation, the real Mc coy is missing...if you get my drift. Anyone can cook Ramly, since the patty and bun is readily available....but in search of the authentic one...that is the problem bro.
  6.
JW that is true... its gotten to too much of a commercialized stage...
  7.
    lousy burger .to much MSG:shades:

ramly burger i think is probably over-rated lah. i must confess that i've yet to try it, cos looking at how its being done, i already get palpitations, let alone suffer the possible consequence of a real heart attack.

pan fried meat patty, pan fried egg, pan toasted buns... greased to the max~!
  8.
but ramly burger is probably less unhealthy than fast food...cos fast food is mostly deep fried (fries, fried chicken etc). at least ramly is pan-fried which means less oil used.

sometimes, its not just the preparation process that we should be concerned with, its also the calorie + cholestrol + transfat intake that we should be wary about.

ie: many r conned into thinking that a vegeterian diet is supposed to be alot healthier than the day-to-day balanced diets. but wat they fail to realize is that the vegeterian mock foods tend to have higher calories & transfats.

as for the ramly burger, i'm sure small as it is, compared to the big mac or the whopper... its a sure bet that it ranks pretty high, if not, higher calorie count than the other 2. (not to mention, cholestrol level too)

i don't think eating too many burgers is a good idea
and sometimes the burgers are getting bigger and bigger

    the world's biggest burger
    weighs 90 kilograms
but will anyone buy that huge thing?
    i don't think so
the big mac is big enough!

Oi! Ramly burger rocks! But it'll kill you faster than the average meat patty. Extra fat, extra oil, extra cholesterol, extra salt, extra msg = extra nice to some. But your ticker will take a beating!!!

You guys must try home made epok crisps & crunch's burger at epok epok international Blk 123 Yishun Street 11, first they invented Asian 3 in 1 epok epok and now looks like their epok burger's more addicted than epok epok. eat them to know better!
