    Facebook and Friendster are avenues of social networking and will increase membership, be a mouth piece to our members and also we can cross refer them to the forum vis-a-vis.

    Are you guys keen? Starting it is easy...

    Do i have the support of the usual suspects?

    i m asking abt the maintenance of the accounts and contents..meaning HGW staff gotta maintain the contents on both accts on top of the existing official site?

    there is not much maintenance accept - approving of members.

    Members can upload their own photos and discussions

    it can also be a mass mouth piece if there is an announcement to be made (gathering, etc)

    seriously..I think the community is going on very well here at HGW through this forum. So far there has been so many gatherings...meet-ups. Friendship bridged over many makans etc...IMHO, the facebook account is quite superfluous.

    that is true, but the exposure we have can be greater...but you mentioned there is already one? Then we leave it as it is...

    recent news section still showing ulu ulu night safari news tho..:P

    we make announcements on the top of the forum discussion page too! (green box). so keep a look out for that!

    haha..no time la...they are all out busy trying to bring in revenue mah...:)

    JW: u can go b a member on the HGW fb acct...i see quite a no of female members (really a lot...)...:P i recognise some of the members too..:P

    n may u all post the food gathering pictures taken i would love to c it and can recognise all of u if one day i make my way down from kl to join ur makan outings!

    Actually there are hardly any pictures from the food gathering that are of ppl. :) Pictures taken are primarily food before all tucks in and then its jus eating and chatting all the way. Camera forgotten. :P

    Don't worry abt not being able to recognising us. Just holler hungrygowhere at the makan outing and u will be guided to us. Or we are probably the biggest grp there. :)

    As for Facebook, u need to create an acct for urself first. After which, search for hungrygowhere and the search results should show hungrygowhere group. Just add urself to the group. :)

    ying ji: u are from KL? hmm perhaps if one day the HGW ppl ever make a trip up to KL for makan and R&R, u can join us and even bring us ard to hidden finds? :)
