Republic of Singapore Yacht Club - both at the Bridge and the Wharf. Monthly subscription is $101.65.

Singapore Polo Club has recently taken back the management of the restaurants and I'm told that it's good. Will be checking it out soon.

I've not been to SAFYC Changi but I hope it's better than the other Coachman Inn restaurants I tried elsewhere. I also have bad memories of the chaos at SAFYC Sembawang's Galley and hope that's improved since.

Go for the sunday buffet spread and just have the prime rib and sashimi. Pair it with a nice Chardonnay and it will take away your monday blues

Many clubs like to outsource their restaurants. That seems to me to be why the food at many of these joints aren't great, but acceptable. I find that the clubs who run their own restaurants tend to take greater pride in their food.

SICC, Sentosa and American club by far!!!

You can't go to the American club if you aren't a member, but you can go to Sentosa Golf club. They also have Nogawa and Il Lido Italian restaurant there. Mind you not so cheap.

American club really has the best ang mo spread in Singapore (top 5 burgers), and the Eagle's nest is an awesome drinking/makan place to watch sports.

SICC is also really good for all varieties. Bukit and Island locations have many different restaurants and cafe's.

Tanglin club has awesome Indian food and "Wagon" but a little snooty for my likings. Bring the car round Alfred.

British club also has very good Indian Food.

Seletar Country Club has very nice local dishes - fried chicken wings, laksa, mee siam, chicken cutlet, ching chow drink etc. & they're very affordable too!:peace:
