Posted By: contrarianI love the MRE (meals ready to eat). At least half of the flavours are pretty tasty to me. I can't understand why my mates would complain about it when they know as well as I what it used to be. Until this day I don't eat sardines or baked beans...i guess there r cases where the quality of our version of MRE is less desirable than its touted to be. as for me, i plan my field ration according to the trg schedules & mission objectives. n i tend to bring additional stuff of my own ie:
Posted By: SSPlucky? SSP has not even started on the tank cleaning part...no, they wont die... we'll only end up with an army of down graded personnels... all with similiar problems; slipped disk. very soon the pes status will have a 3rd indicator to determine/differentiate how many discs slipped in the spine.
Load will not be a problem if all the NS men were to go through a full-pack SOC like twice a day.
Provided that they do not die of heart attack while packing the full-pack.
Posted By: contrarianYep! In my 15 years as a soldier, I've never seen both the fresh and combat rations so good as they are now!still keeping my fingers crossed that they'd introduce self heating packs, so i no longer need to pop it under the vehicle hood to warm it up.

Posted By: girlgirl17come to think of it, by dipping bread or cookie into beverage prior to muching also minimizes the mess of crumbs.Posted By: caniggiapaint on the wall could crack if u throw it against the wall.
