Hi all, does anyone have any suggestions for a restaurant that might be ideal for a girly hen party? Am looking for a nice quaint place preferably with a somewhat private corner that can fit about 8 people.
    Thanks!

hmm... hens night... heard from several female frens that they tend to freq the likes of party world/ k-box. price is reasonable if all should go dutch on the bills + there's some fun n privacy. then again, if there's agenda for some naughty adult fun, then perhaps consider engaging some professional entertainers for a wild night in 1 of the hotels in town.

eyes: how about house at barracks? They've got lots of space and totally private rooms with party potential. I heard of many hen parties held there before.

i suggest Uluru. its an australian themed bar cum restaurant around Duxton. The 1st level is the bar while the second is for dining. There is a section that can be separately booked for such events that seats 10 and more. Food there is good too.

    hahaha

    errrr nice one, hoongy

wood also has plenty of private dining rooms

but i would say house / barracks / camp dempsey - only for the great individualised rooms (had a private dinner there once) and it makes for great people watching and has an all round fun atmosphere.

i would recommend that you go with the greenhouse which is an all glass room in full view of the diners. especially if you're really going to saboh the bride-to-be.

plus you can also proceed to other joints within the dempsey area for drinks or go alfresco at barracks (they've got a mixologist consultant so they've got decent drinks) .

although must say their food is really nothing to shout about - but that's just my view...

    Thanks all!
I've done my b'day party at House and it is a pretty cool party joint. But was hoping to check out somewhere new.

Anyone been to Sage at Robertson? Good place for girly party?
