"Were" and "is" can be different for some servicemen. Now with the formation and vocation tags, I have one vocation while belonging in another formation. Ready to Strike!

regardless of vocations; rifleman, inf leader (wose/offr), signaller, recce trooper, engineers, armor trooper, arti-battery... medic, driver, storeman, clerk.. etc. we're all deployed into diverse units/formations. at the end of the day to sum it all up... we're all national servicemen... deployed n employed as cheaper labor than foreign skilled labor - all in the "abused/defiled" name of national SERVICE

Actually, it costs a lot, a lot, to deploy a battalion of NSmen. I can just see the hundreds of thousands in labour costs when we have a brigade level exercise.

that is why there is only 1 brigade lvl exercise every 2 to 3 yrs.

which is also precisely the reason y we usually suck thumb when politics in the neighboring countries go whacko... cos if a war breaks out, imagine the dollars that go down the drain, when mounting a division of reservist men?

nt to mention, participation of JOC; air, land & sea....

During NS, SSP's S2 actually told the battalion that he would go through ONE war in his lifetime!

    Prolly in his dreams.

Girlfriend Support Group only CREATE problems for our soldiers!!!

    DAVE is a good example.

Almost got us killed for watching movies at Orchard!

Can you imagine our OWN soldiers running amok and start shooting US whenever they have BGR problems?!?

For the sake of national security, NS should only be for men who are strictly SINGLE.
  3.
i fully support SSP's idea. realease all boyfriends at once!
