    just want to share a nice stall selling nice peanut pancake (ban jian kway)
    it's at blk 22 sin ming rd (same coffee shop selling the famous bak kut teh and duck rice)
    it's vegetarian. 1 for $0.70. 3 for $2.

    Interesting! I didn't see it when I was there for the duck this week (sadly the soup lacked the usual flavour - wonder if he changed the soup in the pot). What hours are they open?

    Yes indeed it is Hup Seng, the salted vegetable duck soup.

    My experience exactly. It was very consistent for a long time and then suddenly it got a lot less sour. Rather than standard dropped, I'd suggest instead that he could have changed the pot or the ingredients. Maybe the flavour will come back after a while? Will try again in a few months.
