Forward featuring Oxia

PICK OF THE MONTH: Beerfest Asia 2013
Returning for the fifth year with live performances from a versatile tribute band, a comedy club, beer auctions and tasting workshops, Beerfest is something to pin on your calendar with a nail gun. Judging from past years’ ditties, things get a little crazy after 10pm. Not surprising considering more than 300 labels of beer from all over the world on offer.

Absolut Elyx Craft Collective presents Softwar
From Down Under comes up-tempo slo-jacking house music from Sydney natives Myles Du Chateau & Jeremy Lloyd. Known as Softwar, the duo just released their third EP, “Believe/One Day” on Modular Records’ imprint, Club Mod and are currently touring Asia. Classic to future house and garage music all primed for the roof on Loof.

Darker Than Wax pres. BEATS N BEYOND
Debuting this June at Suprette, the Darker Than Wax fam will be dropping a gold selection of future soul, bass and hip hop every second Friday of the month. On the bill for this evening are Marcoweibel and William J together with label boss, Funk Bast*rd. Some fine cuts await.

With all the DJs that have passed through Home, one individual has been keeping a low profile behind the lens. Now, photographer Olivia Sari-Goerlach steps up into the spotlight to showcase a collection of DJ portraitures that encapsulates all that is good with the glamorous underground. Tom Shellsuit from Pushin’ On opens the night with Darren Dubwise, Gerald Ang, Kurt aka Clash The Disko Kids and Ming on the decks for the launch’s after-party.
