BOOK A TABLE | AFTERNOON TEA FOR MUM | Celebrate over afternoon tea at the The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia's Chihuly Lounge. Executive pastry chef Terence Pang presents an array of savoury treats and as well as bite-sized confections. Try the baked bacon-wrapped scallops with mustard and bourrache (borag herb) and the wagyu beef patties with smoked garlic in sunflower bread. Desserts include cherry sakura eclairs and many more. The spread comes with a complimentary mocktail and mums will be presented with a carnation each. Diners can also take a family photo and take home the polaroid as a memento. LIMITED EDITION YUZU AND TANGERINE CAKES | Two decadent cakes have been created just for Mother’s Day at Bakerzin. The first, the Tango Bianco (serves 6-8, $60), is layers of orange zest-inflused madeleine cake, tangerine jelly and white chocolate mousse flavoured with earl grey tea. The second, the NuttiYuzu (serves 6-8, $60), is made from a base of hazelnut dacquoise, with alternating layers of hazelnut sponge cake and yuzu mousse. On top are white chocolate hearts and raspberries. Available until 30 April.
