LIMITED EDITION YUZU AND TANGERINE CAKES | Two decadent cakes have been created just for Mother’s Day at Bakerzin. The first, the Tango Bianco (serves 6-8, $60), is layers of orange zest-inflused madeleine cake, tangerine jelly and white chocolate mousse flavoured with earl grey tea. The second, the NuttiYuzu (serves 6-8, $60), is made from a base of hazelnut dacquoise, with alternating layers of hazelnut sponge cake and yuzu mousse. SUNDAY MENU WITH A SPECIAL SWEET TREAT FOR MUMS | Bar-roque Grill is sweetening up its Sundays-only Butcher and Fishermen’s menu with a treat for all mothers. A SINFUL, YET GUILT-FREE CAKE | Too lazy to bake a cake for mum this Mother's Day? Allow us to suggest an excellent alternative. A healthy and delicious cake from Cedele, The Berry Chocolate (serves 6-8, $58) is a tall and dense chocolate cake layered with a raspberry cream cheese - rich in vitamic C and high on fibre. Made with antioxidant-rich grapeseed oil and and organic unrefined sugar, this cake is as tasty as it is gorgeous.
