LIMITED EDITION YUZU AND TANGERINE CAKES | Two decadent cakes have been created just for Mother’s Day at Bakerzin. The first, the Tango Bianco (serves 6-8, $60), is layers of orange zest-inflused madeleine cake, tangerine jelly and white chocolate mousse flavoured with earl grey tea. The second, the NuttiYuzu (serves 6-8, $60), is made from a base of hazelnut dacquoise, with alternating layers of hazelnut sponge cake and yuzu mousse. On top are white chocolate hearts and raspberries. Available until 30 April.

SUNDAY MENU WITH A SPECIAL SWEET TREAT FOR MUMS | Bar-roque Grill is sweetening up its Sundays-only Butcher and Fishermen’s menu with a treat for all mothers. The usual suspects will still feature, like the mushroom tarte flambee and the black cod casserole stew in the Fishermen’s menu, and the charcuterie platter and tarte flambee classic in the Butcher’s menu. THREE NEW DISHES FOR MOTHER’S DAY ONLY | Just for the occasion, Brussels Sprouts has unveiled three exciting new creations: fresh salmon rillettes served with toasted brioche and yoghurt ($16), pan-seared Hokkaido scallops comes with roasted eggplant and fingerling potatoes ($32), and the fruity dessert of fresh pineapple with raspberry, blueberry and homemade violette sorbet ($12). CAKES AS GORGEOUS AS MUM | BreadTalk's Mother's Day special cakes claim to be as gorgeous and exceptional as mother herself. JAPANESE-ITALIAN LUNCH OR DINNER | Expect a five-course fusion gourmet experience at Caffé B this Mother’s Day. A SINFUL, YET GUILT-FREE CAKE | Too lazy to bake a cake for mum this Mother's Day? Allow us to suggest an excellent alternative. A healthy and delicious cake from Cedele, The Berry Chocolate (serves 6-8, $58) is a tall and dense chocolate cake layered with a raspberry cream cheese - rich in vitamic C and high on fibre. Made with antioxidant-rich grapeseed oil and and organic unrefined sugar, this cake is as tasty as it is gorgeous. WATERFRONT GRILL SPECIAL | The thoughtful people over at The Chop House have prepared an extraordinary platter for the whole family. Aptly called the Mother’s Day grill platter, it's a smorgasbord of prime meats and fresh seafood such as grilled Australian lamb chops, New Zealand grass-fed sirloin, crispy calamari, Norwegian salmon and prawns.
