Doing away with the heavy, creamy tendencies of most chocolate-based cocktails, we take a lighter, more aromatic route with some acidity to balance things out while still managing to pack in a triple dose of cocoa. As a bonus, this cocktail includes two more aphrodisiacs – almonds (in the orgeat syrup) and cardamom (in the Ransom Old Tom gin).

Recipe serves 1
Difficulty: Easy
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: No cooking required

45ml Ransom Old Tom gin

4 dashes Aztec chocolate bitters
Cocoa powder for coating rim of the glass

1. Place ingredients in a shaker with ice; shake, strain.
2. Serve in a glass with its rim dusted in cocoa powder.
