Muslims celebrate the festival of Aidilfitri–popularly known as Hari Raya Puasa, or simply Hari Raya (Day of Celebration), to mark the end of Ramadhan, the holy month of fasting.
Here are three desserts to celebrate the festive season with. The chunky peanut butter cookies filled with peanut butter and chocolate are so good that they’ll be gone in just minutes, so make sure you bake more to last the season.
Rose scented macaron filled with lychee butter cream is like air bandung (rose scented drink) in a cookie but with a lychee twist. Air bandung is normally served at breaking fast dinners to quench one’s thirst after a long day of fasting.
Lastly, the cheese swirled chocolate marble cake is a crowd favourite. It’s great for the season because it keeps well without refrigeration for up to three days, so you can free up space for more goodies.
