There is surely no greater form of expression than the expression of love, and such a right should always be protected with utmost freedom in mind. Everyone’s free to love whoever he or she chooses, and that is exactly what Pink Dot strives to bring to families and communities all over the country.
Every year since 2009, Hong Lim Park transforms from a field of green into a glowing sea of pink. Over the years, this gathering of Singaporeans (and watchful foreigners) has exponentially expanded. It will take place on Sunday, 29 June, this year.
We'll be there (as likely will Ivan Heng and Samantha Lo), and we'll be celebrating the best way we know how – with food. We are having a little pink picnic of our own by cooking up some easy blush-coloured dishes. You can join in too – we've got the recipes listed below. Don't forget to wear pink for Pink Dot.
