| Wonderful Food, so so service
Taglio is a wonderful place in the atrium next to subway and Azabu Sabo.. Has some of the best pastas i've ever tasted for that price! I understand from the boss of that place that they are under the AMICI group..
Been there quite a few times and though i should write a review about their food, their main dishes are pastas and pizzas, their tag line reads, Gourmet Pizza by the slice. Their pizzas are the thin crust variety, which make for a light meal or appetizer though i doubt it can really make a meal..though i feel they could do with more ingredients, i really liked their crust and the overall taste of the pizza, not like those home delivery ones, these taste fresh(:
The reason I gave such a high rating for the food is because of the pasta, i daresay this is the best pasta i've tried for this price. All of their pastas are $9.90 except for their signature Crayfish Pasta which cost $11.90. I've tried the crabmeat aglio olio, Alfredo, Marinara and bolognaise, and i loved the marinara and bolognaise the most! the sauce is done well, and taste exceptionally good! at first sights, the pasta might seem a little bit too little, but at the end of the meal, i felt really satisfied.
One of the reasons i keep going back there is because when i think about it, why pay to go to pastamania when i can get better quality food, done to restaurant standards at the same price? and all prices are nett, meaning no ++
so for me and a friend, 2 pastas and a pizza for around $25 is really worth it in my opinion..
PS. Heard from the boss today that they're having this weekday lunch combo meals which looked really good to me!
