Please make reservations!

otherwise, you'll end up pissed off that you can't get a seat. It's not that Klee is standing room only. It’s the very fact that the management prides itself on not being over crowded that seating space in Klee is limited, very limited. So if you're planning to come here, please please make a reservation or you could be turned away - just like me a couple days back.

The place is always full house, even today a Thursday weeknight. We were lucky though. After waiting a couple minutes, the couple that made a reservation were a no-show and the two of us managed to get a seat by the bar. ONLY choose the bar. It's cool and is the heart of Klee.

Get served by some of the most lao jiao bar tenders - or at least they look like that to me. These guys look contented, like they have nothing to prove. I guess that it helps that you don't have barely legal patrons screaming their order at you asking you for trays of Sex On The Beach. There is a quiet confidence about these guys in what they do. And the proof is in the drinks.

Expect to spend about $40 here for at least 2 drinks. I had a pineapple and grape martini. The Pineapple and grapes were first mashed and then flambéed! Wow, that is a first for me. It’s quite an original tasting with the caramelized pineapple interacting (in a good way) interestingly with the tartness of the grapes. Not for everyone I think but I liked it very much. I also had a mango martini. Again interesting, not really what you would find at other bars. Be open and let the bar tender surprise you. I've been happy with their choices so far.

Definitely will be back again and today's already my 3rd trip (1 failed attempt due to not making a reservation) in 2 weeks...

I also recommend this place for

they weren't sour. its the tartness of the grapes. you know, that kind of feeling when you drink a wine that is too young.
