| Humming with goodness
Was looking for a place to go whilst in the vicinity. Tables seemed to be rather well taken up, so can't be that bad.
Overall, great value. Service was polite but a bit on the slow side.
Hawaiian Pizza ($12.00)- Thin crust and looked good. A bit of a wait though (probably baked upon order). Not bad
Carrot cake ($3.50) - Not too sweet, texture a bit like "huat kueh". Big slice.
Hummingbird cake ($3.50) - Not too sweet - even the frosting! Nice texture and terrific taste. Generous portion
Brownie ($3.50) - Not bad, small but reasonable portion for a brownie.
Cappucino ($4.50) - Up to standard
Mango Milkshake ($4.50) - Thumbs up!
Earl Grey Tea ($4.50) - For a pot.
Definitely will be back...the sandwiches looked to die for!

ice on Casa Verde: Great Place to Breakfast I would think the OJ which comes with the set is bottled whilst the ala carte OJ is freshly squeezed? Maybe that can explain the discrepancy since watermelon juice is always cheaper than OJ. :)
SkinnyFoodie on Loy Sum Juan Restaurant 黎三元酒家: "Hidden" reasonable restaurant Hey! This is my late grandma's favourite restaurant. We used to go there often when she was around. Try their Steam Fish Head the next round. It's very good. Have not failed us everytime we ordered it ; ) Enjoy!
