Well, i stopped by today for lunch & ordered 3 dishes to go with a plate of rice. The dishes were pretty good. I enjoyed the blackpepper beef & the stir fried vegetables. The beef was quite tender (though i've had much more tender ones in other places) & the sauce was excellent, complemented with chunks of capsicum & some chopped onions...hence, pretty spicy :) I loved the vegetables as well. I enjoyed the gravy & the vegetables were not over cooked. They were fresh & crunchy.

As for the dried chilli chicken, i'm sure you can tell by the picture taken that it doesn't look dried at all. I expected the chicken to be served obviously dried & its texture infused with spices and chilli. However, the chicken arrived in a soupy kinda gravy, accompanied with little bits of garlic & pieces of dried chilli. The dish was not spicy which didn't do justice to its name & i didn't quite like the taste of the chicken.

Anyways, the service was pretty good. I was almost immediately ushered to my seat upon entering the restaurant. One of the waiters even provided me with serviettes almost immediately when my partner accidentally spilled a glass of water on my bag.The food arrived fast & was piping hot. There weren't many customers when i first arrived but gradually, more people started entering.

I agree with the other reviews that this place is indeed worth the money. I spent $20.80 for 3 dishes, 2 plates of rice & 2 glasses of ice water + refills. It was quite a satisfying meal & i wouldn't hessitate to return to this place & try out other dishes. I heard their pandan chicken is pretty good.

By the way, the pictures were taken almost half-way during the meal so quite a fair bit of it has been eaten. The serving was quite generous.

    Sincerely,

    Erin
