Very hidden find

Yamada is a real hidden find which I wouldn't have discovered if my friend who works around that area didn't bring me there. Milling through the rather confusing undergrond tunnels and breaking away from the crowd into a quiet little corner that is Yamada, I was pleasantly surprised at how crowded the joint by the far corner was when we got there.

A nice little cosy set up with the menu catering mainly to the busy office crowd in the CBD area. A wide range of bento sets (from A - J) with varying combinations of sushi, tempura, sashimi and more. Even if you wanted a quick lunch, you might be spending more time deciding on which set to get!

Service was quick yet polite. Capitalising on the lunch crowd, the turnover was pretty fast as they churn out bento sets after sets yet food quality was not compromised.

If you're looking to get some privacy and quiet conversation, do ask for the private room the corner. If not, you could pretty much be holding two conversations at a time with the diners less than a finger length away at the next table.
