Second Visit

Second visit to Asia Grand on 23rd Nov. Brought my Mum along to try their Dim Sum.

We tried something extras that day with the usual suspect :-

1. Pork Trotter with Black Vinegar SGD 7.00 [rate 4 out of 5]

Powerful gravy. Traditional Hakka dish. Being a pure Hakka plus a good cook herself, Mother commented their 猪脚醋is good! The dish appears to be only available for weekend lunch.

2. XO sauce with Carrot Cake SGD 7.00 [rate 2 out 5]

This is an expensive and disastrous dish. Its your typical hawker fare, Fried Carrot Cake. Fried together with bean sprout and egg, we cannot taste the XO sauce. Plus, the carrot cake is mushy. It is quite a turn-off dish.

3. Stir Fry Spinach with Garlic [2.5 out of 5] SGD 12.00

This slightly pricey vege was ordinary.

4. Cha Siew Bao SGD 3.50 for 3 [rate 3 out of 5]

The bun is soft and filling is moist and full.

Service is good as usual. Prompt clearing of side plates.

Must Tries: Pork Trotter Black Vinegar

I also recommend this place for
Type of meal:Lunch, Hi Tea
