| Dinner for 2
After searching the whole island and reading the reviews for near authentic Vietnamese food, I decided to dine at VVV and had high hopes for it. Tucked away in an obscure corner of Seah Street, it took me quite a while to find it but I was delighted when I finally saw the shop.
We ordered a Hue Spicy Beef Noodle, Sliced Beef Noodle, 2x Prawn Rolls, Lemon Grass with Honey and Plum Soda drink. I had the Hue Spicy Noodle and Lemon Grass with Honey while my friend had the rest. The Hue Spicy Beef Noodle was the closest thing that I ever had as compared to the real deal in Hue. It was spicy yet light, the noodles were springy and the beef was tender enough. The Lemon Grass with Honey was fragrant and the sweetness was just right.
The service was good. The waiters kept smiling all the time and even changed our order without fuss when they realised they gave us the wrong order.
This is definitely a place I would gladly return to in the near future.
