The "Executive Summary":

a. This is one of the best Japanese food I've tasted in Singapore.

b. But don't bring your date here trying to impress him/her with the ambience, as there is very minimal. The emphasis is all on the food.

c. Highly recommend that you order their sashimi and let the hostess choose what is good for that day or season. "Japan Hour" moment guaranteed, "Oishiiiiii......"

d. The grilled cod is heavenly! Buttery and melts in your mouth...

e. Sumiyaki (Kobe beef) is great to excellent, depending on how much you like beef.

f. Depending on the season (e.g. festive time), there may be special desserts that are not on the menu. Worth trying!

g. If there's any Japanese dish that you've never tried before but am curious to, this is the place to do it. Chances are you'll have a pleasant surprise (for me, it was the fishhead hotpot with radish).

h. Pamper your wallet before you come here, because it will hurt when you leave. ;-)
