| So they do dinner now...
Tempted by the first outing, we tried out the dinner.
Tribute was paid to the owner's mother for the recipes and he added the Asian twist. The al fresco area was busy the whole night while we ensconced ourselves in the air-conditioned room, providing eye candy to those who walked by the boardwalk and peered into E. We had the whole room to ourselves.
Our expectations were matched.
Between the party of four we had
Beef rendang (served between two pieces of puff pastry with crunchy achar)
Seared Tuna covered in white sesame (well seared and pink in the centre)
Burger (as good as what burgers should be)
Chicken Corden Bleu (the plate was wiped clean)
Green Salad (nice balanced dressing, not too tangy or oily)
Two apple pies
Rhubarb-strawberry pie
Ginger-Lime Creme Brulee
and 4 caffineated hot drinks.
