Slow In Serving Food, Unattentive Staff

Three of us from our company had a lunch meeting with our Thailand counterparts (three of them too) on a Thursday afternoon.

The first reaction from our Thailand counterpart was...This restaurant serves food very slowly! So we must be prepared to wait!
My reply was Chinese restaurant usually serves food faster than Western restaurant that was why we chose Chinese food.

We ordered

(1) A few dim sums (Only the Cha Siew Su leaves an impression, i like the skin.)

(2) Peking Duck (This dish is below my expectations, the skin is not crispy enough.)

(3) Scallop with Broccoli (Nothing speical.)

(4) Prawns with Wasabi (I didnt eat this, both are not my cup of tea.)

(5) Steamed 'Soon Hock' Fish (Still okie, the fish is springy and white.)

(6) Fried Noodles with Duck Meat (Too saltish!)

Everything was indeed served very slowly, we sat from 12.30pm to 2pm. And we had to wait 10-15mins waiting after we finished each dish! We literally were full drinking Chinese Tea and i was upset they didnt ask us what type of Chinese Tea we want in the first place and just served Jasmine Tea.

Furthermore, when we told them to serve our food faster, the waitress answered impatiently that the dishes were coming! There were about 10 tables of customers only and we do not understand why they took so long to cook the food!

In the end, i have to give me dessert a miss because we have to head back to office. =( What a lousy lunch!

SSP
on Fish & Co (Centrepoint): Right At One Corner
SSP would be worried if they were rotten and dead in the sea before they were served on the plates!
