"Healthier" Fast Food

Had a quick lunch at this eatery on a Friday afternoon.

It was a relatively early lunch (before 12) so the place was pretty much emty except for another table.

Went for the Souper Combo which comes with a soup, half sandwich and an iced tea.

From the counter waiting for the food, I could see that the wait staff's main mission is to put food quickly on the table for the customer. The half sandwich was stacked and put on a plate and then sent to the microwave oven together.
The result was a soggy focaccia bread due to condensation of moisture onto the plate which the bread goes onto. Sandwich was a pathetic 1 slice of roast beef with 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber, slathered with musturd and mayonnise. Tastewise, a lot left to be desired.

The pumpkin soup did manage to save a few points for being hot and flavoursome. But for at 10.50 for a soup+half sandwich+iced tea, I guess I can't really complain too much.

Only visit for a quick and fuss free lunch.
