| Nothing different
This branch of MFM is separated into two sitting areas. Given that it was already past 2 when we visited MFM, there were some empty seats around and we were quickly ushered into the restaurant by a cheery waitress. We had the Seafood Platter for 2 for sharing topped with the meal deal where the soup of the day was Mushroom Soup.
The Mushroom Soup was as delightful as before with mushroom and celery bits in each spoonful scooped. However, the taste seemed a little bland, but that was perhaps because of something saltish I had before the meal. The seafood platter however was a little disappointing as my favourite in the whole platter was the prawn which was terrible today. The prawn was overcooked, didn't taste fresh, hard, rubbery and SMALL. It was very disappointing. The cheese which flowed onto the butter rice was still awesome though and the deep fried calamari, fish and oysters maintained its standard and does not reek of smelly and stale oil which I hope will never come from MFM.
Overall, service was prompt, food was alright and the environment was as per normal. Given that it was weekend, the crowd in MFM was filled with families.
