| love it..!
Tried out this place on a Thursday for lunch buffet (12-3pm). I actually called up to make reservations, as buffets are always pretty packed, regardless day/time. I was told I wouldnt need to reserve, but upon arriving, there was a little bit of confusion as the restaurant was packed!! Hmm.. note: make that reservation. If its full-house, you needn't wait, if its empty, no harm, right?
I must say, the service was speedy and efficient. We (hubby, parents and I) were served by a cheerful and friendly chinese lady.. They dont speak much English here but there's a menu, (in English) so we just pointed and ordered. (ala carte buffet)
It's $19.80++, Passion card holders get a 10% discount off (not sure how long the promo would last)..and its totally worth it. We ordered nearly everything from the menu. Special mention to the whole steamed fish, herbal prawn in bamboo, chilli live mussels, and sliced fish (sang yu). The mussels dish was good- each piece actually contained mussel-meat, unlike some tze-char places where you get lotsa shells and hardly any meat.
The buffet includes coffee/tea/soft drinks, and desserts like cakes and jellies. There was also a small selection of japanese delicacies.
All in all, very good dining. Food quality was great, service was alright. The dining are was done up tastefully. I'll be back again, soon.
ps/ here are some pics, when I actually remembered to snap 'em.! ;)
