Expected better food

Perhaps I should just stick to a few reviewers here before making a rash decision to eat at places I have not been.

I was there for dim sum today, sunday morning for my weekly dose of "Yum Zou char" (By the way I am a cantonese who embraces this tradition since young). I heard of Hua Ting and sometime ago when there with some business partners for lunch, somehow I didn't remember how the food was, nevermind talk about my food today.

Lets just sum up .. I had better tim sum and thing there are better tim sum out there and I expected better tim sum here. The deep fried spring roll is over fried, a tad too oily, and the oil is not fresh. The Ha Kau and Siew Mai is average, very average. In my company of friends, we have a little boy who absolutely love food, did not swallow the spring roll offer to him, it is not that good I believe.

The price is about 10% higher than crystal jade. We didn't really order much, half the time we were catching up with each other anyway. Had coffee elsewhere after lunch cos we had to give the table up at 12:30 to the next reservation.

Have to ask for tea top up, and difficult in getting attention sometimes.

Overall experience.. Not impressed.

I also recommend this place for

Occasion:Large Groups/Gathering, Children/Family, Business Breakfast, Client Meetings/Business Dining

I totally agree with you on the seafood burger. I thought it was just me but I guess you have the same thoughts on the lack of taste
