The food at this place is really value for money especially the crab. But sorry to say, I do not agree with you on your comparison of the crab to Uncle Leong Seafood. I had tried their crab beehoon and the crabs weren't fresh at all. Maybe you were lucky to get a good catch when you were there, but for me, my 1st try there for the crabs were a disappointment.

i went there few weeks ago at about 8pm...it was so quiet *LOL*
the whole 20mins i was there, my friend & i were the only customers- with 4 staff staring at us while we eat *LOL*
now i prefer to go to the one in bugis, since the staff is always busy, & it tastes better too, when i feel more comfortable *LOL*

This is a hole in the wall shop. Very friendly lady. She doesn't do it to make money. Many hotels and restaurants have asked her to make cakes for her but she doesn't want the hassle. Must try her chocolate cakes! They are heavenly!

Hmmm.... my experience was not bad lei.
Hee hee... I think you and I are similar, both Xiao Long Bao fans! There a decent one at International Plaza called http://www.hungrygowhere.com/restaurant_details.php?recordid=1568
Standard fallen a bit but still not too bad.
