my friend and i came here after school to satisfy a ramen craving and yoshimaru's ramen didn't disappoint! i still find a bowl of noodles for $11 to be a little ripoff (came up to $13 after gst etc.), but it was worth it. the soup was flavourful and almost creamy, the noodles thin and bouncy, and the cloud ear mushrooms give a nice crunchy variation to the rest of the dish. food was served fast too - good as we were really hungry. sitting at the bar wasn't that bad even though it was a little difficult for us to see each other, but that may just be a personal thing since i prefer to sit facing my dining companion instead of next to her/him. atmosphere was busy in the small restaurant, but not to the point where it was annoying. will go back!
