25 Boon Tat St, Singapore
Good North Indian option in Raffles Place

I visited this restaurant during its opening ceremony last Sunday. The place was packed with guests. It's located off Cecil St, on Boon Tat street, on the same row as the Satay stalls of Lau Pa Sat. The ambience is pleasant and welcoming and the seating area is large. I was told it can accommodate 68 people.

The food served on Sunday was primarily North Indian, though they have advertised both South Indian and Indian Chinese in the menu. I had some Naan and Kashmiri Pulao along with some Palak Paneer, Mixed vegetables and Fish Curry. The Naan and Panneer were excellent. The Fish was well-cooked and soft, and soaked well in the curry. I finished it off with some fruit custard that was served as dessert. Later on I was given an excellent coffee - prepared with the right amount of fresh milk and coffee powder. We had to add the sugar ourselves though. All in all it was a good meal and I'll definitely return for one of those Lunch buffets advertised for $8.50.

Must Tries: Naan, Palak Panneer

I also recommend this place for
Type of meal:Buffet, Lunch, Dinner, Vegetarians
Occasion:Large Groups/Gathering, Children/Family, Client Meetings/Business Dining
Atmosphere:Quiet/Peaceful

on Redhill Porridge: Probably the best porridge in Singapore
I think this fish and pork porriage stall doesn't sell chee cheong fun. So you may have gotten this #01-90 stall confused with another porriage in Redhill. :)
