i was quite disappointed because i went there on tuesday at lunch hoping to get a burger but they were closed!
i shall have to try again, and based on your review i think it will be worth it!

The prawn toasties are in the picture and the coating is flour-like.
I've never tried a truffle and wouldn't know it if I was choking on one, so the flavour of an oil that tastes similar to it is lost on me. =P If someone could describe in detail what it tastes like, I can try to recall.
You're right on that count and I expected it, but it still detracted from the experience, and bringing it out early didn't help.

I think the chili oil does make the dish nicer. I like the mee tai mak.
What's the tiger prawn toasties? Deep fried bread? Was the truffle oil in the Wong's handmade mian apparent? Correct if I'm wrong but handmade noodles usually turn soft easily, just like homemade pastas.
