| Dim sum for dinner
We happened to pass by this unassuming place some time back and decided to give it a go, since we were in a dimsum mood and not very many places have it at night.
We ordered some yam puffs with filling, hargao, charsiew rice roll and a dish of luo han zai. The waitress then told us there was also xiao long bao that wasn't on the menu, which we ordered as well. As this is a vegetarian joint, all meat is substituted with a mock version or some replacement.
By the way the dishes were cooked, I think this place has a potential to serve really good food. Though not being a very avid fan of vegetarian food, I thought it was the mock meats that held so much back.
Still, the food was not bad and the dainty place has a quiet sorta charm. I think I just might come back. |
