The place was still new hence zero queue and zero waiting time. The service was pretty good (maybe because not many tables were filled).
We ordered the ala carte buffet, standard menu. They also have a budget menu but only $2 difference. There were 3 prices - for lunch, dinner, and weekends ranging from $14.90 to $18.90. Ours was the weekend dinner at $18.90 with 28 dishes to choose from.
Some of the dishes could only be ordered once like Fish Maw soup, Tom Yum soup, and stuffed chicken wings. The Fish Maw soup & chicken wings were very good. You could really eat the chunks of fish maw and the soup was tasty. The chicken wings were crispy and warm and not too salty. Perfect.
The servings per dish were quite generous. Like for the deep-fried spring rolls, each person was allocated 2 instead of the usual 1 at other restaurants. Maybe the 4 of us were small eaters, but we only managed one round, plus dessert.
Overall, this place has pretty good ambience and nice food. Not bad for something under $20.
