| Peking duck for $23.80++
Definitely worth the eat.. peking duck for $23.80++.. really unbelievable price!!! :)
I've tried the set menu for mother's day. Their shark fin's soup, nothing special. The others are so so..such as their appertizer fried prawn with shredded potatoes ( abit oily with too much fried mushrooms), crisy chicken (pretty normal), wasabi prawns ( not too bad) , bean paste steam fish (rather small portion) and their fried rice (not too bad, just right and not oily )Still, I would prefer their signature dish.. Yuan Yang Tou fu. Though I don't usually fancy tou fu, this is something really different.. smooth on the inside with yummy vegetables and mushrooms that compliment the simple dish.
Visited thrice at Huang ting, and thrice, we've ordered the tou fu. You wouldn't get sick of eating it. Highly recommended!
Desserts are yummy and healthy! Worth the try.. guess it ranges from $6-10 per serving. Honey Gui Ling Gao and Pumpkin vanilla icecream. I prefer the Honey Gui ling gao though, bitter-sweet but nice! compared to their signature pumpkin vanilla ice-cream dessert.
Nice atmosphere they have but waitress are not very attentive even when there're few occupants in the restaurant.
Nevertheless, it's a good place for a quiet dinner. I would definitely return for their crispy peking duck skin with sweet sauce.
My younger brother, dad and mum all loves it~
