| not fantastic
We were there last thursday for one of our food "kaki's" birthday. The place was very packed for a weekday evening. but the food is really so-so. we ordered, nabe sets, ramen, bibimpae, cha soba, katsu toji set.
Only the katsu toji set tasted good, the rest were really ok only. We also topped up $3.30 for the desert the desert although a bit too sweet were better than the main course. maybe it's a place more for desert than for dinner.

monger mango on Claypotfun: Not my kind of claypot rice I ordered the luohanguo drink and on top of it, asked for ice water to be served too.
Despite the restaurant being full house, the drinks all came pretty promptly without much wait.
starseqer on Koi Cafe (Toa Payoh): Prefer Cup Walker heh.. am sort of a fan of cupwalker. not sure if you would agree with me though... but the quality of drinks at the Kovan and suntec outlets is quite bad. gave the outlet at Kovan a few tries and have been disappointed each time.
the cup size of the "standard" bubble tea drink is different at the suntec outlet. unlike the other outlets, the one at suntec serves only the normal 500ml cup.
tomato & sour plum sounds weird lei.... but lime & sour plum? OK! i'll try it on my next visit. ;) thanks for the recommendation!
