I came here for a dinner with my relative and ordered the salmon dish about RM 30. It was good display, salmon on top of long beans, carrots and little corns.

the long beans had a good balance of crunch, oil and softness. the carrots were a little raw and hard while the corns (i think they were frozen ones) were not very fresh. The salmon was tough and..hmm not too appetizing. but something to note was that they were very generous with the salmon proportion so it was very filling. but i prefer salmon oozing with more omega-3 goodness and is soft and melts in the mouth. any recommendations?

the mash potato is all too buttery and not healthy to eat. the goodness of the potato is all covered and hidden by the strong butter taste already.

i came here on a friday night and it was filled with people and noise...not very conducive for a nice laid back dinner. i guess swensens is getting popular and less attention is paid to the food for the global franchise already. better be off to some ulu home set up business. the wooden tables and cushion chairs exuded some kind of elegance and comfort though :) and the lightings were dim and lovely.

it was also difficult to get the attention of the busy staff. we had to walk to the counter to pay the bill ourselves after all our frantic waving came to nought.
