When i think of the best mee soto...it is Inspirasi at Bedok, the chwee kueh's finest - Tiong Bahru, Katong's Laksa, etc ~ these are my food champions...but for Nasi Padang...this in my opinion is the undisputed champion
Whilst growing up in the River Valley area...i was a lonely person, always going back to the rented apartment alone and no cooking at home (it's quite pointless to cook for 1) so came along this place.
When i first discovered this place a decade ago...i fell in love with the food. Everything is good, the potato cutlet, stingray, omlette, rendang...EVERYTHING
It's a little pricy for Nasi Padang fair...but they earn their dough. Their squids are so fresh, the rendang meat is so tender, the coconut used is squeezed fresh every morning.
the queues at peak hours are just ridiculous so best to go at non peak hours, 1100+ would be good.
Sabar Menanti, M Nasir Warong...take a Q...this is my Nasi Padang CHAMPION in Singapore

agree! its one of the top nasi padang in spore BUT WAY too EX! my fav dish fr this place is the simple spicy pinapple dish.
JW, there's another nasi padang store (not as good as RV but cheaper) at clementi, its a small corner stall man by chinese and malay, in a coffee shop near the clementi NKF.
Try it, its nice. Their sambal chilli is great!
