Loved this place the last time I went. Unpretentious, simple place with good service and fantastic food.

My friend had the chirashi sushi set which was humongous, and I had rice with salmon and roe scattered liberally over it. And it was so affordable for the portions and the quality - super fresh fish.

And there were a sizeable number of Japanese when i went, which is always a mark of a good Japanese restaurant.

It's a rather small restaurant and the tables are quite near each other so you might be able to hear the conversations at the other tables, or feel disturbed. but if you're there just for the food and less for the ambience, then this is the place for you!

Will definitely go back again to this tucked away gem.
