This is a lovely little place for lunch esp for those who have been slogging half a day away at Raffles Place!

It's a typical japanese restaurant setting which offers a variety of choices with bentos n dons being e most popular... Although i've been here many times.. i'm still inclined to stick to my favourite few!

The soba n tempura set ($18?) is quite a big portion so u might need a bigger table... it comes in 2 trays.. one for the soba (choice of hot or cold) n one for the tempura / chanwanmushi/ sushi etc.. e cold soba comes with slices of mushrooms n tamago.. it's a decent fare n great if u r feeling hungry! The ladies set ($22 or $26?) is an even bigger portion n comes in an assortment of dishes eg fried / grilled/ sushi/noodles etc n again bring a bigger tummy n get a bigger table... i've juz tried e kaisen don ($17?) which is an assortment of sashimi sprinkled with fish roes... absolutely generous portions of salmon n tuna n fish roe with 2 special sauces to dip in (one's sesame based n e other white sauce which i've no idea).. e sashimi was decent (although a tad too warm) for e $$$ paid but e rice beneath has hugh room for improvement...it's way too dry!! (i know it's unfair to compare to e divine nogawa's vinegared rice but e rice here really sux!)

Nice little place for lunch with colleagues or biz partners!
