i've been to morton's twice this year and i must say that i had quite positive experiences both times. the first time this yr i went with my family.

We had:
alaskan king crab legs
lobster bisque
crabcakes
oysters
prime rib with
garlic mashed potatoes
creamed spinach
asparagus
morton's famous hot chocolate cake

to be honest, only ones that stand our are the prime rib, the creamed spinach and the hot chocolate cake.

the alaskan king crab legs were just that. nothing special or great about it. the lobster bisque isn't worth a try. not thick and creamy enough, and it didn't even have mnuch lobster inside. the crabcakes were pretty good. i'd recommend them if you like crabcakes. oysters, once again, nothing out of the ordinary.

the prime rib though, was excellent. i tried the filet migon before and it was very good too. if you like your steaks very lean, get the filet mignon. they're softer but not as flavorful as the prime rib. the thing about morton's is that is doesn't come with sides, and each side can be $20 or so. so it gets really expensive. but the steak is fantastic. opt for the center cut (so its abit medium rare) then tell them to do it for you "cowboy style", where they chargrill it for you after cutting your piece from the whole chunk. the creamed spinach was wonderfully soft and creamy. very good.

the hot chocolate cake was excellent. you have got to try it.
