| Good & Bad
1st went on a Friday nite with my gf, was surprised that the place was quite empty. Given the reviews, I tot the place would be packed during weekends.
They dun have a small table for 2 pax so we were ushered to a table big enough for 8. We were asked for the soup stock, the standards are chicken herbal & tomyam, the rest need to top up additional $5. We opted for the standard. Like Coca style, we were served without ordering a set of dishes.
The fried rice is nice, goes very well with the Korean BBQ beef & chicken. The fried toufu & prawn paste chicken wings are very nice too, served hot & juicy.
The steamboat ingredients are fresh too but I find their varieties too little, don't even have my favourite fried beancurb skin. But they made up with dang-O & fish glue.
Chilli sauces are very good too, 1 plate is definitely not enough. Their green lime juice cost $6/jug, taste like Mama-Lemon but goes well with the food.
Their infamous muah chee is served last as dessert but of coz you can order again, soft & nice, really a MUST-TRY.
1 major down side may be the accessibility to the restaurant unless you drive. |
