Sorry but this review is a bit back dated in that I had lunch there in mid Aug and dinner at early Sep. On both occassions, we had mostly beef dishes, the ribeye and filet mignon in mid Aug and in Sep, my party had the rideye, the lamb shank, the sirloin and the wagyu beef.

Generally, the beef was very tasty, succulent, juicy and generally very well prepared. Service was very good too in that the staff had good knowledge of the items on the menu and were prompt with everything. Our comments on the fries being a tad salty was swiftly met with a new full plate of fries.

I have however heard of not so positive feedback on this place in that a friend have commented that the grilled ribs were not up to standard but I haven't tried those myself. Thus far, among the beef items, the filet mignon has been exquisite. It would not be too bold of me to say that next to Morton's, Prime would rank up there for big juicy well prepared steak in Singapore.

Oh, btw, they serve a fabulous sangria too.

Generally, I would say the ambience wasn't fantastic but is not too terrible either. However, being a steak venue, the clothes can smell a bit at the end of the day. As such at the end of the day, one would work away from Prime with a fantstic meal, which was not that pricey though the clothes may not smell the freshest.
