Hello Kitty, Donuts, Fast Food Burgers, Muffins - Some of these are just passing fads and some are here to stay. Someone once asked me if Japanese pasta was here to stay. It may, or it may not, but one thing is surely different - Waraku's ability to reach out to the masses is certainly one plus point.

Dining here for lunch, I realised that it had a good office crowd despite only being opened for about a week. I started my lunch by sharing the thin crust prawn and scallop pizza, which I found to be very light and made a great appetizer.

For my main course I had the Carbonara Pasta. Alright, one might ask where the Japanese element is in this dish. Well, I am not sure but I certainly did enjoy the juicy plump oysters and the cream sauce that came with the pasta.

All in all, a pleasant place to have a nice lunch.
