10 Dempsey Road, #01-20 Tanglin Village (Dempsey Road), Singapore
Not good value for money

we went there on Oct 10 evening. We went for indoor seating
and were seated at a corner table, by the window.
Lighting was ok, not too bright, but music was a bit too loud

we started with some appetizers, calamari and salsa dips. The former were good, the latter very basic...
We moved on to the main course and ordered some "signature" dishes like the T-bone, eye fillet and other meat-lover cuts.
Cooking was ok but for one (which was closer to medium-rare than rare)

Meat was good, tender, juicy, but all in all, it's over-priced: $70++ for a T-bone, $45-$48++ for the rib-eye fillet...you can easily get at least as good beef cuts for less than that in many places around singapore...Beef can be served with mashed potatoes, diced-potatoes,fries or salad...but no combo possible
To go with that, we had ordered a bottle of New Zealand Pinot Noir, which was ok for a 2006 down under wine. But once again, $88 looked over priced for this kind wine. The wine list was poor actually, with barely a dozen of references.
We finished by ordering some deserts which were globally ok, but nothing really special.
Service was also ok, responsive but not sticky and they don't clear you plate 1.5 seconds after you've caught your last piece of meat

I don't know whether the location, Dempsey/Tanglin Village, is responsible for that "premium", but if it was to spend $100/head, I'd rather have gone to Le Petit Salut few blocks away or some fine-dining experience you can have around the island for the same price.
