| Rich Perankan History. "I feel like i am in to 1980s."
The front does not look anything special, just like any other restaurant. When I peek in and went for my round of inspection, it have a lot of Perankan crockery, there are so many of them upstairs, shelve by shelve. The painting and all those makes me feel that I am in 1980s.
Derek and I ordered:
- Beef Rendang (Once bite, the aroma dispersed in my mouth. Fantastic!)
- Hee Peow Soup (Amazed that this restaurant sell this, not many places do. It have a pungent taste of black pepper. Soup was well flavoured)
- Ngoh Hiong (Not bad, the ingredient was quite generous, the sinful fatty diced pork. Too bad it does not smell good)
- Nonya Chap Chye (Okay)
- Mini Otah (Skip)
The portion was generous. The above was enough for 3. We had a hard time finishing. I saw the table behind us ordered buah keluak, it look nice. I so gonna order that next time.
This place charge for warm water at 30 cents each. Good thing is they do not charge for service charge and GST. ALL INCLUSIVE!
